Every article begins as the publisher's own recorded commentary and argument. Drafts are edited, and factual claims are reviewed before publishing. Opinion and analysis are written to read as opinion and analysis.

Independence. Coverage is not for sale. Any commercial relationship that touches a story will be disclosed on that story.
